The Case For the Date of Our Savior’s Birth

This article contains several references to the death of King Herod, which helps to date the birth of Jesus. There are several date references that fix the year of Herod’s death in 4 B.C. Also, the Christmas star, mentioned in Luke’s account, brings us even closer to the year. It is an important piece of the puzzle, since there has been such confusion over the year of His birth.
