Bob’s Corner: Prophecy Summit 2012

By on August 31, 2012

Have you ever been to a big prophecy conference? I’m trying to find the words to describe what it’s like to be surrounded by 800 excited people, who all share the same ideas and goals—the return of Jesus Christ. We prophecy folk are a different ilk. We’re tuned in to world events on a channel most Christians can’t seem to find on their dial. We watch the news, surf the web, peruse the latest books, DVDs, blogs, tweets and just about anything we can get our hands on— all with that single purpose. When will Jesus return? I don’t know about you but I’m ready for eternity to begin!

800 people gathered in the Radisson Hotel in Branson from July 13th-15th and you could feel the electricity in the air. 26 speakers, the leading voices in the prophetic world today, preached their hearts out, bringing clarity, wisdom and hope to an audience hungry for God’s Word. These days, with the world on the precipice of an any-moment showdown/meltdown, we were all quoting the words of the Psalmist, “How long oh Lord, how long? By now I’m sure you’ve seen the names.

Gary Stearman hosted the conference, with a big hand from our resident MC, Tom Horn. Gary even recounted his own personal UFO experience of 30 years ago, when he encountered a gigantic silver craft that he believes may have saved him from disaster during an in-flight, electrical failure.

All the Prophecy in the News favorites were there. Tom Horn preached on upcoming events in 2012; and Cris Putnam gave us the latest updates on their new best-seller, Petrus Romanus. L.A. Marzulli, Avi Lipkin, Bill Federer, Larry Spargimino, Noah Hutchings, Doc Marquis and Doug Woodward introduced new messages that were a big hit with the audience. Newcomers David Brennan, Ken Johnson and Mike Hoggard were particularly well received with exciting and timely messages.

Marzulli in particular left a big impression on the crowd. Forget the well-behaved suit-and-tie studio guest you see on the PITN set. In person, this guy was all wound up and the crowd shared his obvious passion for the signs of the times. He even agreed to preach a private luncheon for 120 people on recent events in the Middle East, when he clearly explained where things go from here in Syria. One of his messages was so popular I had to ask him if he’d be willing to preach it again! There were people standing in the hallway, sharing chairs, sitting on the floor and standing up for well over an hour, just to see this enthusiastic pulpiteer come to life.

He was followed by Chuck Missler, who flew in all the way from New Zealand and blew the crowd away with a message entitled “The Holographic Universe.” It was science fiction straight out of the Hollywood movie, The Matrix! When Gary Stearman tells you he was impressed, you know you’ve hit a home run.

Then there was Doug Hamp, a newcomer to PITN. Doug may have been the most popular speaker at the conference, lecturing on fascinating subjects like the DNA of the Nephilim; DNA alterations and the Mark of the Beast; and the Genetics of Christ’s incarnation and our future heavenly bodies. Where can you hear preaching on these fascinating subjects? Doug also took part in several Q & A forums with Gary, Rob Skiba and L.A. Marzulli, the highlight of the conference for many people. One could only hope to have an audience with these men and ask them every question you can imagine on UFOs and the Nephilim.

Then the conference went in another direction when Joseph Farah, the CEO of World Net Daily and NY Times best-selling author, Jerome Corsi, took the stage. Both of them brought highly controversial messages to Branson—Joseph on the possibility of an Islamic Antichrist, a very hot topic right now—and Jerome, the roving pit bull— with a message entitled “Where’s the Birth Certificate?” Do I need to elaborate? Suffice it to say that both men spoke to standing room only audiences, who were left in shock by their insider information.

Steve Russell brought the house down with his patriotic message on the capture of Saddam Hussein. There wasn’t a dry eye in the place as he shared his personal testimony and how the Lord used him to bring this despot to justice. Then there was shocking information from Russ Dizdar, Doug Woodward and Rob Skiba—things you literally would be afraid to share in public. And you don’t want to miss Jonathan Cahn, who threw his watch away and preached his heart out for well over an hour on The Harbinger. And I can’t forget Bill Salus, who laid out a timeline of future events by following the prophecies in Ezekiel 38, Psalms 83 and Isaiah 17!

You can get this entire conference on DVD—the messages, the one-on-one interviews hosted by Derek Gilbert, the Q & A sessions on UFOs and the Nephilim, the exclusive luncheon with L.A. Marzulli— EVERYTHING that took place in Branson is in the package, the next best thing to being there. The eight individual DVDs are priced at $24.95 each and include 7 conference messages/interviews and a tribute message of past prophecy conferences on DVD from our late founder, J. R. Church. Or, get the entire set of 64 messages plus 4 bonus DVDs at a $50.00 discount for $149.95. There were 68 presentations in all! Who ever heard of such a thing?

Branson was a great experience. We know that many of you were not able to attend due to the overwhelming response we had. Bigger facilities will soon follow. The sale of these DVDs will help us fund larger conferences in the future, along with smaller regional conferences in many places we’d love to visit. It is great to get out and meet the people who love this ministry and “love His appearing.” Tampa? Orlando? Little Rock? Southern California? Albuquerque? Stay tuned! And register early!
