Bob’s Corner: Petrus Romanus

By on June 28, 2012

Who could ever forget the old E.F. Hutton commercials, now immortalized on YouTube as some of the greatest advertising spots in American history? Can’t you just hear the voice of the legendary John Houseman when he says “When E. F. Hutton talks, people listen”— then nothing but hushed silence and cupped ears, listening for the inside financial scoop?

Tom Horn is quickly becoming the John Houseman of this prophetic generation, leading us down the dark hallways of history into a state of wide-eyed wonderment. Part of my job as book editor is to sort through the mundane and the ordinary and find the best of the best. It’s easy with Tom’s books—every page comes alive, immediately demanding to be read! There are no recycled books with Tom Horn’s name on them. He’s always on high-alert for the next new challenge. And so he’s found it with his new best-seller and media sensation Petrus Romanus. By the time you read this, you might be the only person in America who doesn’t have a copy! It’s smashed every PITN book sales record to smithereens— and it’s not showing any sign of slowing down any time soon. A Petrus Romanus radio interview seems to be around every bend in the road as the public realizes the significance of the dark secrets buried in the underground catacombs of the Vatican— secrets that very well could be revealed in the year 2012.

I’m sorry to say that some of those secrets are far darker than I’d imagined. Murders, assassinations, fornication, pregnancies, pedophilia, Satanic appearances and initiations, dreams and visions, ciphers, Rosicrucian and occult magic, Masonic and Jesuit influences and last but not least— allusions to the rise of an individual we call the False Prophet. You’ve never seen so much multi-layered conspiracy packed into 528 highly-referenced pages! It’s like The Exorcist meets The DaVinci Code!

This time around Tom has a “co-conspirator” in his literary efforts, Cris Putnam, a Christian apologist and researcher who has earned the admiration of both Tom and Gary Stearman as a scholar with few equals. Digging through the annals of Catholic history and several books written in foreign languages, Cris and Tom began to uncover one bizarre historical document after another, all leading to the year 2012! Smoking guns if you will.

Petrus Romanus is gaining notoriety for several reasons, but the main one concerns a document called The Prophecy of the Popes. This is not a new document—it’s purported to be about 900 years old and was first published in 1595, so why is it so important today? It appears to be the work of an Irish seer, St. Malachy, who came to Rome and proceeded to have a bizarre vision of the future—an epiphany if you will. He began to write down the names of all of the future popes, from here until the end of time—along with thumbnail sketches of their individual reigns.

Much like J. R. Church’s controversial discoveries in Hidden Prophecies in the Psalms, the prophetic observations are uncanny! Adding to the documentation, Petrus Romanus contains a corresponding chart, listing the predicted prophecy for each Pope down through the centuries. According to St. Malachy, the next Pope, the 112th Pope listed in the Prophecy of the Popes, may very well be Italian and be named Peter the Roman. He could make his appearance in 2012 and lead the Catholic Church into the Great Tribulation!

Shortly before the book was published the rumor mill began to churn. One would think Tom Horn had a public relations firm deep within the Vatican! First, we heard that 85-year old Pope Benedict was fading quickly; unable to perform his duties, and that he would soon step down! Then we heard of scandals and leaks coming from inside sources, confirming the ongoing power struggle inside Vatican City. Will the aging Benedict survive all this, or is his replacement about to set foot on the world stage?

The idea of the Catholic Church birthing the Antichrist or the False Prophet is nothing new. Many of the ancient church fathers believed this, so we shouldn’t be surprised. Read Alexander Hisslop’s Two Babylon’s sometime and you’ll get the shock of your life (get it free below). The Vatican, of course, has always been on a collision course with Israel, desiring full control of the religious sites in the Holy City. At the same time, they are spearheading the ecumenical movement, trying to unite all the religions of the world under one spiritual leader. Could the stage be set any better?

Even the back cover of Petrus Romanus is filled with intrigue! Just look at what awaits you. Why did the famous 18th century preacher, Jonathan Edwards, believe that the Antichrist would arrive in 2012? Did the script for Rosemary’s Baby come from a real life attempt to birth the spawn of Satan through ritualized sexual magic? What about the curious deaths of Vatican insiders Malachi Martin and Father Kunz? What did they know that got them killed? What is the real hidden story behind the legendary visions and prophecies of Fatima? And what secrets lie inside the US Capitol, connecting the dots to 2012?

Leave it to Tom Horn to throw in a FREE BONUS DVD with his Petrus Romanus book! Tom has assembled more than 50 ancient documents, many of them highly sought after and expensive works like The Complete Works of Flavius Josephus; The Geneva Bible; The Works of St. Malachy; The Works of Jonathan Edwards; The Two Babylon’s; Foxe’s Book of Martyrs; The Jesuit Codex Book; Tom’s message, The Lost Symbol; and Matthew Henry’s Commentary! And they’re all FREE!

As we enter into the dark days ahead the world may find itself “seeking words of wisdom,” but not the wisdom of Mother Mary, Popes and seers. The eyes of the world may soon turn to Rome as the final prophecies of the book of Revelation take center stage. Petrus Romanus is just a wake up call. The real conflict lies just ahead. (528 pages)
