Solar and Lunar Eclipses in 2014/15 by J. R. Church

Messianic Pastor Mark Biltz has taught his congregation about the Second Coming of Christ for many years. Recently, he made a discovery on NASA’s web site that sent his head spinning. He noticed that there will be two solar and four lunar eclipses in the Sabbatical Year of 2014/2015. Knowing the scriptures that predict the sun turning into darkness and the moon into blood, he realized that these might be signs in the heavens. Be sure to read his story!

There are many heart-rending stories of children like “Little Orphan Annie” that pull on our heart strings. Well, imagine you are an orphan, awaiting the arrival of your new parent to take you out of your dilemma to live in a mansion where you will be happy for the rest of your life. That is precisely the biblical view of our “blessed hope.” Gary Stearman tells us all about it in this article.

The Prophecies in Psalms 108-110 - That Thy Beloved May Be Delivered by J. R. Church

There is a verse in Psalm 108 that smacks of the Resurrection and Rapture of the New Testament Church. Therefore, we are taking this opportunity to review the prophecies in Psalms 108, 109 and 110. Psalm 109 alludes to the judgment of Satan and the Antichrist. Psalm 110 speaks of Jesus, who sat down at the right hand of God until that day when He returns to judge the world.

Gog's Navy by Gary Stearman

Gary Stearman has dubbed this subject, "Gog's Navy." He reports that, in January 2008, Russia began to escalate its military presence in the Mediterranean Sea. They currently have eleven warships on war game maneuvers. The new Russian president, Dmitry Medvedev, recently said, "Russia must restore sea power." The Russians have reached an agreement with Syria to use its deep-water ports. War materiel is pouring into Syria.

God Gave Israel to the Jews by J. R. Church

On January 8, U. S. president George Bush made a three-day visit to Israel for the purpose of establishing a Palestinian state. He met with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert and Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas, and appointed three U. S. military generals to stay in Israel for the next 12 months in order to conduct the negotiations and carve out borders for the Palestinian state. There were protests by both Jews and Palestinians over his visit.

When the Lamb Steps Forward by Gary Stearman

One day, all the created beings in the heavens will watch as the Lamb of God steps forward to open a seven-sealed scroll. When He does, He will be acting as the Divine Judge, who takes in His hands a sealed indictment — that sealed scroll. What is written upon it no man knows. But it must certainly include a list of charges accrued across the millennia by a depraved humanity. In the opening of its seals, the Lamb will right the wrongs of six thousand years and establish peace and justice.

Deciphering Daniel-Daniel's Last Incredible Vision by J. R. Church

The tenth chapter of Daniel begins a vision that runs through the rest of the book. It is Daniel's last and greatest vision, in which he sees a heavenly visitor — who has the exact same characteristics that John saw in the glorified Jesus in the opening chapter of Revelation. Did Daniel see Jesus? If so, then he was not a pre-incarnate person, but the same one John saw. This would make the Savior a Time Traveler of the first order. In fact, throughout the next three chapters (Dan. 10-12) this heavenly visitor tells Daniel what will happen in the future — as if he had already lived through it! Be sure to read this article carefully. The clues contained in this chapter may reveal the identity of the heavenly visitor, especially the part where the visitor says that only he and Michael were privy to the grand plan for Israel's redemption. Who else could it be?

The City of Prophecy - O Jerusalem! by Gary Stearman

The Jews are still God's Chosen People and Jerusalem is still the spiritual center of this world. Know this — God said that Jerusalem was the apple of His eye. And when anyone tries to steal it from God, he will feel the pain of swift and certain judgment. If Islam has its way, over the next twelve months, Jerusalem will become the capital of a Moslem state. This could be the "covenant" that Daniel 9:27 predicted. Already, Jerusalem has been classified as a universal city, no longer belonging to Israel. The document, the United States Department of State Telephone Directory, was finished just days ago as the U.S. promotion of a political division of Jerusalem to accommodate demands from the Palestinian Authority.

Deciphering Daniel (Chapter 9) - The Mystery of the Seventy Weeks by J. R. Church

The ninth chapter of Daniel’s prophecy contains the most profound Divine dating system to be found in all of Scripture. The Archangel Gabriel tells Daniel how long it will be until the coming of their long-awaited Messiah. But hidden within these "seventy weeks" are two gaps of time — and the durations of neither of them are given to Daniel. There was to be an "interregnum" (or years not counted) between the seventh and eighth weeks, and between the sixty-ninth and seventieth weeks. It turns out that the first interregnum was 77 years long, as explained in this study. But the second gap of time has lasted from the beginning of Christ’s ministry until now. How much longer will it be until Gabriel pulls the switch and starts God’s time clock ticking off the seventieth week?

The Visit of the Magi - Wise Men Still Seek Jesus by Gary Stearman

The cover story this month will give you a special perspective on the gifts of the Magi. The gifts of gold, frankincense and myrrh were to become very significant in the life and ministry of Jesus. The Magi who came to worship before Him must have been led by the Holy Spirit to bring those particular gifts. Gary Stearman writes: "They were skilled in the politics of the Middle East, and were sensitively aware that a prophesied King had come into their midst. Doubtless, it was their intention to assist Him — monetarily and politically — in His rise to power." During this season of the year, this biblical story needs to be told. Someday, perhaps soon, Christ will return as King of kings and Lord of lords.

The Folly of a Palestinian State by J. R. Church

High level talks for establishing a Palestinian State will be held on November 15, 2007 in Annapolis, MD. It is said that Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert has agreed to turn eastern Jerusalem into the capital of a future state of Palestine. Not a good idea!

The Beast From UNCLOS: Lex Mercatoria And the "Law of the Sea" Treaty by Gary Stearman

Don’t miss the prophetic importance of this. The UN is dumping the ancient "Lex Mercatoria" (Law Merchant) statutes and replacing them with a UN treaty — revising ancient law so that the UN can control the sea lanes. This is a move toward world government. Remember the biblical "merchants of Tarshish?" They are locking up the oceans to prepare for total control of humanity. It is a move to enslave the human race.
